Suzie designs and makes range of ceramic sculptures and jewellery, assisted by her Tibetan Terrier Rafa.
Suzie’s sculptures are born from a love of dogs, yoga and nature. She creates a range of leaf dishes, leaf vases, Yoga Dog sculptures and big dog sculptures, the latter of which are done on a commission basis. Suzie also creates an imaginative and exciting range of contemporary jewellery using handcrafted pure silver pendants, with beautiful semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls.
When she takes on a dog sculpture commission, Suzie likes to meet the dogs in person so that she can watch the interaction between the owner and the dog to get an understanding of their relationship and take several photos. Her aim is to create lasting memory of a beloved pet, which is why she like to meet the dog in person, as working from a photograph doesn’t allow for capturing the unique looks between a dog and his/her owner which are so special.
